The Friday Humanitarian Scan #37

A recent UN Women report Invisible No More, reflects that the risks women and girls in Gaza are not visible. The report shows that women-headed households in Gaza have at least doubled since before the war. The risks they face in the areas of economic, shelter, insecurity and displacement are more than what male-headed households face, although women heads of families manage core survival responsibilities such as household spending, aid registration and its collection.

These assessments are vital parts for our humanitarian programming to define the most vulnerable individuals and families where we work. Worth reading!
